Trust in Yourself

You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life. — Steve Jobs …

Broadmoor Open 2016

Hello Everyone,

I just finished competing at the Broadmoor Open. It was super exciting and a lot of fun. I got to compete against so many amazing skaters. It was a truly great experience. I learned tons and got a lot of valuable feedback from the judges which I will use to help me improve in preparation for my next competition. I have a lot of work to do, but I am excited to get back on the ice and move forward.

He is the 2014 Northwest Pacific Novice Mens Regional Champion.…

He caught a cold after Glacier Falls, but still competed in Canada. It was a bit rough mentally, getting prepared and confident for this week’s skate in Canada. Fatigue and illness took their toll. It was a triumph for Ikaika to compete, and very satisfying to have skated well.…

At least this time he did not lose all of his jumps. He had to get his orthotics re-covered as they were breaking down and it was thought to be causing the numb toe. In the process, his orthotic was changed a little and he did lose progress on jumps he had made, so our wonderful orthotic technician changed his orthotic back to the same way it was before. Close call.…
